Dear Parents,

Hi, my name is Misty White, I am the mother of Jaden White who attends school at Shorkey center.  I'm very excited to inform you of our new FEAT-SETX organization that is being started.

What is FEAT

FEAT (Families for Effective Autism Treatment) is a non-profit organization of parents and professionals, designed to help families with children who have received the diagnosis of Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) as well as other developmental disabilities.  It offers a network of support where families can meet each other and discuss issues surrounding autism and treatment options.  FEAT has a Board of Directors that meets monthly to discuss issues, establish priorities, and vote on the direction of the organization.

We are in the beginning phases of putting together a website and gathering all the information we can to make our FEAT-SETX informative and full of support for our parents and members.

Please all me at 409.553.3916 or email me at mistynwhite@yahoo.com.  I will be looking forward to hearing from you and getting to know you better in the months to come.
